Four companies control half of Western Europe’s pay-TV subs

BSkyB secures 69% of Sky Deutschland

BSkyB has confirmed it has secured 69% of Sky Deutschland. It is part of the £5 billion agreement to create a European pay-TV giant that would also include Sky Italia.

Sky Deutschland turns down BSkyB offer
