Finnish technology provider Teleste is anticipating deliveries to European cablenets during the year will be ahead of their 2011 levels. It says its video headend and optical network products will be competitive in the emerging market of TV distribution infrastructure.
Mobile TeleSystems OJSC (MTS) is to deploy the Teleste Luminato video headend platform and Teleste Broadcast Manager service as part of a nationwide digital TV network across Russia.
