Dutch police arrests two card-sharing pirates

Following complaints by Dutch cabler VodafoneZiggo, a cybercrime team of the Midden-Nederland police arrested two men on suspicion of card sharing, a form of piracy in which a legitimate TV subscription is shared unauthorised via the Internet

Prison sentences for large-scale hack of Ziggo modems

Ziggo, KPN take 84% of Dutch TV market

The Dutch TV market contracted again in Q2, down by 0.2 percent to 7.45 million subscribers. Only IPTV showed growth, while cable, satellite and DTT lost customers, according to the latest quarterly report from Telecompaper.

Sparql teminates its IPTV service
