Vodafone Germany to bring TV to LTE

IFA 2011 – BERLIN. Vodafone Germany will start to roll out LTE in German urban areas, said CEO Friedrich Joussen at the company’s press conference in Berlin. Dusseldorf will be the first city where the service will trial.

Vodafone Germany adds MTV channels

Telekom Entertain leads German IPTV market

With over 1.3 million subscribers, Deutsche Telekom’s service Entertain is the clear leader in the German IPTV market. 02/Hansenet’s Alice Home TV lags far behind with just 79,000 connected homes. Vodafone has yet to publish its first figures for its recently launched IPTV service.
