Fincons Group hosts next-gen video panel at Medientage München 2019

September 30, 2019 08.00 Europe/London By Broadband TV News Correspondent

Italian IT business consultancy Fincons Group will host a key panel session at German media conference Medientage München 2019 entitled Engage and Monetise in a competitive market: Experiences of Innovation Acceleration and Efficiency of Delivery.

In an evolving media environment, where competition is increasing and audiences are ever more discerning, interactivity, engagement and personalisation are critical to securing revenues. During the panel discussion, experts in the broadcasting and publishing markets aim to identify the key ingredients in the successful launch and management of video-centred services, focusing on business drivers as well as technology enablers and the efficiency of delivery and operations on a global scale.

The session, moderated by media journalist Dr Jörn Krieger, will particularly focus on the industry impact of artificial intelligence, machine learning, HbbTV, ATSC 3.0, big data and advanced analytics.

Riccardo Botta, Senior Director Production Broadcast and Creative Hub of Sky Italia, Dr Tanja Prinzessin zu Waldeck, COO of BurdaForward, Peter Fregelius, Head of TV & Entertainment of Swisscom TV and Andrea Conte, Head of Product Development and Data of Publitalia ’80, will be joining Francesco Moretti, deputy CEO of Fincons Group and CEO Fincons.US to share their experiences.

“We are delighted to host a panel on such an exciting, but also important topic for the industry,” said Moretti. “Our panel of speakers is unique in its breadth of businesses and depth of experience and we are confident that together we will be able to provide key insight and useful take-away messages for businesses looking at innovating their engagement and monetisation strategies.”

The English-language panel session Engage and Monetise in a competitive market: Experiences of Innovation Acceleration and Efficiency of Delivery will take place on Thursday, October 24, 2019, between 17.15 and 18.00 CET at Medientage München 2019 in Munich, Germany.
