A development sparked by the diverse interest in the OTT market from major CE suppliers, pay-TV operators, leading internet portal companies, DVD rental companies, and large CE retailers.
The IPTV subscriber base in the emerging BRIC markets exceeded 8 million subscribers for 2010, with China dominating the figure, according to IMS Research. A CAGR of 13% for BRIC is expected through the forecast period, which ends in 2015. The Russian IPTV Market has reached just 374,000 subscribers.
