Almost half of US viewers watch online video
Roughly half (48%) of Americans now watch video online, compared to 10% for mobile and 97% for traditional TV, according to the latest findings of Nielsen State of the Media Q2 report.
Americans are watching more videos
The average American today has more ways to watch video, whenever, however and wherever they choose. In the Cross-Platform Report, US research firm Nielsen finds that the resounding trend is this: Americans are spending more time watching video content on traditional TVs, mobile devices and the internet than ever before.
