Sky Deutschland drops Formula One

RTL keeps Formula One and secures UEFA Europa League on free-TV

Formula One unclear in Germany in 2018

RTL and Sky retain Formula 1 rights in Germany

Commercial broadcaster RTL will continue to show the Formula 1 races on free-to-air TV in Germany while Sky Deutschland will continue to screen the races on its pay-TV platform.
