Ex Proximus CEO Dominique Leroy has been appointed the new board member for Deutsche Telekom’s Europe segment, effective November 1.
KPN has announced that Dominique Leroy is no longer a candidate in the process to become the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Management of KPN.
The public prosecutor in Brussels has launched an investigation into suspected insider trading by Dominique Leroy, the CEO of Proximus, and designated new CEO of KPN.
KPN is set to appoint Dominique Leroy (54) as the next CEO and Chairman of the Board of Management of KPN, with effect from December 1, 2019.
Belgian imcumbent Proximus said its TV customer base totaled 1,626,000, with +7,000 new subscriptions in the first quarter of 2019 (+ 2.8% year-on-year).
Proximus has said that it TV customer base grew by 11,000 in the third quarter of 2018, reaching 1,595,000 (+ 3.4% year-on-year).
Belgium incumbent Proximus reported that TV subscriptions totaled 1,759,0002 (+ 10.5% yoy) at December 31, 2015, with +167,000 new subscriptions added in 2015.
UPDATED. The Belgian government has announced that Dominique Leroy will be the new CEO of Belgacom.
