Sky is reportedly in talks with Channel 4 over including the public broadcaster in its AdSmart platform.
Sky’s AdSmart service will go live on the Virgin Media platform in the UK on July 1, it has been confirmed.

Advertisers will be able to serve different ads on Sky1, Sky Sports, Sky Atlantic, Sky Movies, Sky Arts, Sky Living, Challenge and Pick TV, when BSkyB launches its AdSmart service later this year, but the full launch won’t take place until 2014.
BSkyB has confirmed plans to run targeted advertising on its broadband-based TV outlet Sky Player. In a note to subscribers Sky said it would be introducing the AdSmart technology from the New Year.
