Deutsche Telekom’s IPTV service Entertain will add a number of new channels to its line-up on April 15.
During a press conference at the CeBIT in Hanover, Deutsche Telekom said it is targeting between 2.5 million to 3 million customers for its IPTV offer ‘T-Entertain’ by the end of 2011.
The German online VOD service Videoload has signed an agreement to offer Warner TV on its platforms. Both online viewers and subscribers to the Deutsche Telekom IPTV service T-Entertain will be able to access the TV series.
Deutsche Telekom’s IPTV service T-Entertain has now reached 885,000 customers in Germany and according to the incumbent is well “on its way to one million homes.” In the CEE region, Deutsche Telekom now has 339,000 IPTV customers.

This Friday, September 25, Deutsche Telekom’s T-Entertain IPTV service will stop distributing channels from Sky Deutschland. As previously reported in Broadband TV News, Sky has cancelled its contract with the telco.
IFA 2009 – BERLIN. Deutsche Telekom has said it now has 800,000 homes taking the T-Entertain IPTV service and that it will easily reach over 1 million customers before the end of the year.
