The streaming service Max will make its debut in Poland next year.
News of its launch was confirmed by Kasia Kieli, president and MD Warner Bros. Discovery in Poland and CEO TVN, speaking at a Content Day organised by the company and quoted by Wirtualne Media.
She added that the group plans to work even more closely with local producers, having already spent PLN500 million (€114.3 million) on local fiction content in the last three years.
Looking forward, it would like to invest at least as much if not more.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News, countries where the current HBO Max streaming service is already available will be the first to receive Max when the Warner Bros. Discovery (begins its European rollout in spring 2024.
