Sofia Digital will have the latest social media plugins and 2nd screen pairing for HbbTV (ANGA COM June 9 to 11).
The Finnish company will be exhibiting alongside partner Booxmedia, known for its cloud-based TV Everywhere system.
Demonstrations at ANGA COM include latest HbbTV customer cases as well as new developments including VOD portals, TV guides and other applications utilising latest HbbTV 1.5 technology. Demos and services are powered by Sofia Digital HbbTV Platform, a turn-key solution for broadcasters and operators.
The Sofia Digital HbbTV Platform consists of Sofia Backstage HbbTV Inserter, Sofia Backstage HbbTV Backend and can include any number of ready-made Sofia HbbTV services or custom applications.
Typical application products that can be bundled are Sofia Launcher, Sofia TV Guide, Sofia Video Player as well as other apps like Weather, News and Internet Radio.
