Teleste Corporation has commenced negotiations with staff groups over a possible 35 redundancies.
In a statement, the Finnish tech firm said measures aimed at adjusting the company’s operations and improving profitability could lead to permanent layoffs, temporary layoffs, or part-time employment.
In December, the company announced lower than expected volumes in the final quarter of the year. Its Broadband Networks business unit has been particularly affected.
The negotiations affect all Teleste Oyj personnel in all work locations in Finland.
