Altice Media has become the first player in France to offer its DTT channels on a platform previously offering mostly FAST channels.
From this month (December), BFMTV, RMC Découverte, RMC Story, BFM Business and Tech&Co have beened added to connected TVs, mobiles and tablets running Samsung TV Plus.
At the start of 2024, 8 FAST channels will be launched on Samsung TV Plus, including 6 co-exclusively, with more than 3,000 hours of content per year.
The partnership allows Samsung TV Plus to continue its growth in France and considerably expand the free streaming offer of the Altice Media group, with a large catalogue of more than 2,000 hours of on- demand shows from 2024.
Dedicated digital advertising will replace the linear advertisements on the channels that have been distributed over DTT.
In addition, during the duration of this partnership, Samsung TV Plus and Altice Media are joining forces to develop solutions to offer targeted advertising.
