Spain’s Movistar TV has suffered an outage hitting reception via its app and affecting thousands of customers.
Quoting sources at the operator, El Economista reports that those customers have decoders that should have been renewed. It adds that customer service indicated that the problem had its origins in an error in the update of the latest software version of the app.
El Economista confirmed that it was impossible to receive channels such as TVE1, LA 2, Antena 3, Cuatro, Cinco and La Sexta on mobile phones, tablets and smart TVs during the outage.
The outage was apparently resolved shortly before 19.30 on Wednesday, November 22.
