Jana Mrakotova has been appointed the new head of communications at the Czech public broadcaster Ceska Televize (CT).
From November 1, the communication team will be joined by Vendula Krejcova, the current presenter of the programme Objektiv, who will take up the position of press spokesperson.
According to CT, the main goal of the new management is to establish open, transparent, but also technologically advanced and recognised communication with all partners.
Mrakotova joins CT from Krajska zdravotni, where she worked as a press spokesperson and head of communications. She previously worked at Prima TV, where she held, among other positions, the position of head of lifestyle communication. Within Prima, she also acted as its spokesperson.
In the past, she worked as editor-in-chief of the G.cz portal, was a press spokesperson for Thomayer Hospital and the Ministry of Health.
Meanwhile, Krejcova has been working at CT since 1999.
CT’s communications come under the Corporate Services Division, whose director has been Michal Fila since the beginning of this month.
