New role for Jesús Suso at Vodafone Spain

October 17, 2023 12.47 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Vodafone Spain has appointed Jesús Suso director of its Companies Business Unit, effective November 15.

He replaces Daniel Jiménez, who will leave the company to focus on new professional challenges.

The move is part of an organisational change in the company’s Executive Committee, with direct reporting to the CEO, with the aim of ensuring new momentum in the transformation and growth plans of the Companies Business Unit in this new stage.

Suso joined Vodafone in 2020 and has held various management positions in key areas, including strategy, marketing, channel distribution, and sales, alternating central positions, in the region and in the Vodafone Group and always closely linked to the B2B environment. He is currently the commercial director, responsible for sales in the SME, Local Corporate, VGE (Vodafone Global Enterprise) and Public Administration segments.

Commenting on the appointment, Mario Vaz, CEO of Vodafone Spain, said: “With the incorporation of Jesús Suso, we promote the development of the company’s internal talent with a double objective: on the one hand, to provide maximum continuity to the business and the team through a professional already recognised for his experience and with a 360-degree vision of the business and on the other, ensuring new momentum in the execution of plans in terms of competitiveness and growth.

“In addition, I want to thank Daniel for his dedication and commitment. During these years years, his work has been fundamental to consolidate Vodafone’s position in the Business segment, where growth in large companies, public administrations, new businesses and IoT stands out, as well as in the development of transformational initiatives with the aim of unify processes and promote the digitalisation and automation of operations”.
