Poland’s Polsat Plus Group is looking into the possibility of closing its streaming service Polsat Go.
Presserwis reports that it has unofficially obtained information about the closure of ad-funded Polsat Go, which would leave the group with an ad-free, paid-for service named Polsat Box Go, whose offer includes TV channels and premium series.
It adds that Polsat will shortly begin to contact Polsat Go users about its closure and invite them to switch to Polsat Box Go, which will remain paid-for.
Polsat Box Go was launched in September 2021 and replaced ipla and Cyfrowy Poslat Go. Meanwhile, Polsat Go made its debut in August 2021.
