Liberty Global and Warner Bros. Discovery are considering their future involvement in All3Media, the UK’s leading independent TV production company.
According to Reuters, quoting three people familiar with the matter, one possible option will selling their stakes in the joint venture in a deal worth over £1 billion (€1.16 billion).
It adds that another would be for one to buy the other out.
All3Media was formed in 2003 and acquired by Liberty Global and Discovery 11 years later. It has since grown into an international group and its companies based in the UK, US, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and New Zealand produce more than 4,000 hours annually for linear broadcasters, VOD, social media and other digital platforms.
The group’s revenues in 2021 amounted to £866.6 million.
