Vodafone Greece expands Warner Bros. Discovery partnership

February 10, 2023 08.52 Europe/London By Julian Clover

Vodafone TV has signed a new multiyear deal with Warner Bros. Discovery.

The agreement includes exclusive first-run Warner Bros. movies and a selection of blockbusters, as well as award-winning series, shows and documentaries from HBO and the HBO Max catalogue.

Titles include The Batman, Dune, The Matrix Resurrections, and all new premieres coming out of the Warner Bros studio.

“We are excited to expand our relationship with one of our most important partners, offering the best of all content categories that Warner Bros. has to offer,” said Antonis Prekas, Head of Propositions & Pricing at Vodafone Greece. “At the same time, we are very pleased that this global media and entertainment company, Warner Bros. Discovery, trusted Vodafone and Vodafone TV to continue offering Greek consumers its rich catalogue. With this agreement, Vodafone TV continues to be the home of HBO in Greece and with the new additions it emerges as a unique entertainment destination for every family.”

A bouquet of channels from the Warner Bros side of the combined company will bring CNN, TCM and Boomerang to the telco’s subscribers.

Discovery, TLC, Discovery Science, ID, Animal Planet, Travel Channel, Food Network, as well as Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 will continue to be made available.
