All films, series and documentaries from Disney+ are now available on Ziggo in the Netherlands.
This relates exclusively to Disney films, series and Originals, but also all the films and series from Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Star. Ziggo customers can use the Disney+ app in the Mediabox Next and Next Mini menus.
Commenting on the launch, Robin Kroes, executive director of consumer market at VodafoneZiggo, said: “By adding Disney+, we are taking an important step in our strategy of offering customers the best viewing experience, where convenience and quality are key. With the advent of ever more streaming services, Ziggo will ensure that searching these services for your favourite films and series is as easy as can be via the Mediabox Next or Next Mini. In addition, customers can order, manage and pay their Disney+ subscription via My Ziggo”.
Bart Verhoeven, director of platform distribution at The Walt Disney Company Benelux, added: “We’re delighted to be able to further expand our strategic partnership with VodafoneZiggo through Disney+. In this way, the Disney+ streaming service will be accessible to a large number of Ziggo customers, making it even easier to view Disney+ content directly on the Ziggo platform”.
