Sunrise has announced plans to develop its offer to French-speaking Switzerland through a new tie-up with Canal+.
“Our goal has always been to simplify the entire user experience to allow them to enjoy their favourite entertainment with ease. Canal+’s expertise and know-how are valuable assets. With them, we are able to offer exclusive content and exceptional features for a unique entertainment experience,” says Tina Rodriguez, senior director Entertainment at Sunrise.
Sunrise subscribers will be able to enjoy a selection of films and series through Ciné Séries. More than 300 new titles will be made available per year, typically six months after their theatrical release.
In all 2,000 films are available across multiple genres.
Through Canal+ Sport there are 800 football matches available including gameplay from the Premier League and Ligue 1, Top 14 Rugby and the Ryder Cup.

Canal+ has been steadily building its international interests; last autumn it agreed a similar partnership with Austria’s A1.
