German sports channel fight24 HD has entered into a partnership with IPTV service provider Ocilion, which will make the channel available to further network operators and TV platforms in German-speaking Europe.
EWE, a German service provider in the business fields of energy, telecommunications and IT, is the first to distribute the pay-TV channel on its IPTV platform.
“With exclusive martial arts highlights from the fields of Olympic boxing, kickboxing, mixed martial arts, wrestling and Muay Thai, fight24 HD offers content rounding off any sports TV package. We are delighted to have Ocilion as a strong and experienced partner at our side to significantly expand our distribution,” said Peter Behrends, Managing Director of fight24 HD operating company Martial Arts Broadcasting Network Ltd. “Other network operators and platforms will follow shortly.”
