The new German teleshopping broadcaster ShopLC is expanding its distribution: The channel will become available on Deutsche Telekom’s TV platform MagentaTV on September 22, 2021.
The service will be carried on channel slot 114 between QVC and sonnenklar.TV.
ShopLC – the LC stands for Low Cost – focuses on jewellery, supplemented by lifestyle products from body care to fashion accessories and technology.
The free-TV channel launched on July 1, 2021 for DTH satellite households on Astra (19.2° East) and can also be received on several cable networks as well as streaming service Zattoo.
The reach is to be further expanded. For this purpose, ShopLC concluded a framework agreement with industry association Deutsche Netzmarketing GmbH (DNMG) which serves more than 200 network operators.
The channel is operated by Indian parent company Vaibhav Global Limited (VGL), which is active in the jewellery industry. Founded in 1980, VGL Group has its own production facilities in India, Thailand and China and can therefore offer the goods without intermediaries.
In the US, the company operates the same-named teleshopping channel ShopLC and in the UK TJC, launched in 2006 under the name The Jewellery Channel.
