Netflix remains the most popular platform among VOD and OTT services in Poland, claiming 11,944,260 users via its website and mobile apps as of this August.
This, according to research by Mediapanel and published by Wirtualne Media, was up from 10,883,160 a month earlier, while its reach rise from 32.75% to 35.95% over the same period.
WP was in second place in August, with figures of 4,489,344 and 13.51% respectively, followed by Player (3,212,460 and 9.67%) and cda.pl – premium (3,170,016 and 9.54%).
Significantly, Viaplay, which had 1,269,432 users and a reach of 3.82% in only its first month of operation in Poland, was placed in 10th place behind NC+ Go (21,501,254 and 4.52%).
Viaplay’s reach should increase this month as in addition to UPC Polska and Vectra at launch it is now also available on Play.
