Andrea Duilio has been appointed CEO of Sky Italia, effective September 6.
He will report to Stephen van Rooyen, Sky CEO UK and Europe.
Commenting on the appointment, van Rooyen said: “I am delighted to welcome Andrea Duilio as the new CEO of Sky Italia and to be able to work with him in the implementation of our ambitious development plans. The experience gained by Duilio will give an important boost to the innovation and growth process of Sky Italia, completing the transition to a leaner and more integrated operating model with the group”.
Duilio has 20 years of experience in Vodafone Italy, where he has held roles of increasing responsibility in the Consumer Business Unit. Since 2018, as digital director, he has led the company’s digital transformation path and, subsequently, taken on the position of director of commercial operations. From last December until his entry into Sky Italia, Duilio was the director of the Vodafone Consumer Business Unit.
