Alpha Networks has entered into an exclusive partnership with blackpills to roll out the latter’s new SVOD platform, which, as reported by Broadband TV News, made its debut on Spain’s Movistar earlier this month.
The platform is employing an end-to-end solution from Alpha Networks named Bee and will in due course be made available across Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.
According to Patrick Holzman, CEO at blackpills, “We have selected Alpha Networks as the exclusive technology partner for the deployment of our service because we were looking for a reliable partner to support us in this new challenge. Our new distribution strategy is ambitious and operators’ workflow can be complex: Alpha Networks made it simple and provided us with a very premium-quality platform offering enriched user experience”.
Alpha Networks provides software solutions for the video market and lists Orange, Bouygues Telecom, Canal+, NOS and TF1 among its clients. Meanwhile, blackpills produces short-form content and, since the launch of Blackpills Studio in March 2019, it has been developing and collaborating with international streaming platforms and production companies.
