German music channel RCK TV has ceased broadcasting at the end of 2020.
On its website and Facebook page, the pay-TV channel says goodbye with a message to its viewers: “Dear RCK TV community! An era is coming to an end,” writes the team. “You were a great audience! We hope we could make your lives a little louder and happier. Rock on!”
RCK TV and sister channel Jukebox faced a severe cut in their reach on April 1, 2020 when their largest distribution partner Vodafone Deutschland removed the channels from its cable TV line-up.
Nonetheless, Jukebox remains on air and can be received on Sky Deutschland, Zattoo, waipu.tv and 1&1.
New in the portfolio of operating company High View is free-TV music channel Schlager Deluxe. Also new: Documentary channel Planet was recently renamed doxx.
