TVN24 Go: an update

June 11, 2019 09.45 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul, NEM 2019, Dubrovnik

The most important point behind Europe’s first news-based on demand platform TVN24 Go is it being a “one click to watch” service.

Speaking in the opening panel discussion at this year’s NEM in Dubrovnik, Kasia Drogowska, head of product and editorial team, Player.pl, added that others included personalisation and providing users with a coherent experience.

She also said that there is no other OTT news service in Poland. Furthermore, TVN24 Go is about long form content and also offers live streaming.

Looking to the future, she said the main challenge facing TVN24 Go, which is a premium service, is preventing churn.

As previously reported by Broadband TV News, TVN24 Go made its debut at the end of last month.

It is operated by TVN/Discovery Polska.
