DAZN will exclusively transmit the FA Cup in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The streaming service acquired the rights to the UK football competition for the next six seasons until 2023/24; financial details were not disclosed. The rights were previously held by Eurosport.
DAZN will start its coverage in the third main round on January 5 and 6, 2019. Traditionally, the major Premier League clubs enter the competition in this round.
The streaming service will show selected matches of the main round as well as all games from the quarter finals onwards. The final will take place at Wembley Stadium on May 18, 2019.
With the FA Cup deal, DAZN can continue to show UK football following the loss of the Premier League rights to Sky Deutschland.
