Beenius: Addressable ads “a game changer”

September 16, 2018 15.57 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Addressable advertising will be a game changer, according to Luka Lieber, business development manager, Beenius.

Speaking to Broadband TV News at IBC, he said that Slovenia-based Beenius was founded 2008 and is one of five companies in the Smartcom Group. It has included Castoola, whose specialism is HbbTV, since May this year.

Beenius is now building ad solutions on Castoola’s HbbTV platform and in Lieber’s view addressable advertising is very much the way forward, targeting the right messages to the right people.

In his view, revenue share will also be a game changer.

Lieber said he believed that advertising and Android now hold the key.

Through the acquisition of Castoola Beenius now finds itself in the HbbTV space. However, it would like to cover as many fields as possible.
