SERAPHIC has announced that its Sraf OpApp solution is ready for commercial use and will be officially launched at IBC 2018.
It will be the industry’s cutting-edge commercial Operator Application software product that is compliant with the latest standard specification by ETSI TS 103 606 V1.1.1 (2018-05).
According to Xinwen Xue, VP Product Management at SERAPHIC, one of the main advantages of the solution is that it saves time and resources. It is built on the widely deployed Sraf HbbTV 2 solution and can be quickly integrated into customer projects.
Sraf OpApp has already been chosen by several well-known operators including HD+ in Germany and Tivusat in Italy for smart TVs and STBs, separately supported by the device manufacturers Arcelik and Skyworth Digital.
The products powered by the Sraf OpApp solution will be available to the market in Q4 this year.
SERAPHIC is also working closely with key OpApp developers such as Yotta Media Lab and Sofia Digital to verify and deploy OpApp application development for operators.
The Sraf OpApp solution will be on display at SERAPHIC’s stand (E12, Hall14) at IBC 2018. Furthermore, the onsite OpApp Live Demo event will be available at 4 pm during the show.
