Revenues from pay-TV services in Moldova were 10.2% lower in Q1 than in the same period last year.
Data published by the regulator ANRCETI shows that they amounted to MDL58.9 million (€3 million), which was only a fraction of the total MDL1.493 billion revenues for the electronic communications sector.
However, the latter figure was itself 4.8% lower than that for Q1 2017.
The biggest loser was fixed telephony (-21.8%), while the highest gain was recorded by mobile internet (20.8%).
