Elisa’s Estonian operation Elisa Eesti gained almost 47,000 new customers in 2017.
In a summary of its activities last year, the compamy says that 24,000 of these were for wireless TV and the remaining 14,700 for telco services.
All told, it ended 2017 with 123,000 DigiTV and 79,200 wireless TV subscribers.
It also had 93,700 fixed-line internet and 672,516 mobile subscribers.
Elisa Eesti had a turnover of €157.9 million in 2017, whle its EBITDA increased by 32.3%.
Elisa Eesti began 2018 as single company, according to its CEO Sami Seppienen, after having a difficult year in merging its TV and telco operations.
Highlights in 2017 included the launch of Elisa Elamus, a new TV service that contains a full range of smart TV functions and includes five thematic sections.
As previoulsy reported by Broadband TV News, Finland’s Elisa bought the leading Estonian cable operators Starman at the end of 2016 in a deal worth €151 million.
