CNN Money Switzerland, the first English-language Swiss business news channel, will launch on January 24, 2018 at 18.00 CET.
With studio guests and reports, the channel will focus on the World Economic Forum taking place in Davos on its first days on air.
CNN Money Switzerland, first announced in January 2017, targets the English-speaking Swiss community with financial and business news as well as cultural and lifestyle programmes. The core of the 24-hour service is the daily live show The Swiss Pulse, airing between 18.00 and 21.00 CET with Swiss and international news, sports coverage and weather reports.
The advertising-funded free-to-air channel will broadcast nationwide on the cable network of UPC, on IPTV platform Swisscom TV, as a live-stream on its website and also use social media platforms Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Dailymotion.
The launch in Switzerland is part of CNN Worldwide’s plan to roll out its CNN Money brand internationally.
