Colin McLeod has been named as the new general manager for Fox Networks Group UK.
McLeod gets to work today on a part-time basis before taking up the role full-time in the early spring. His predecessor Jeff Ford will continue with Fox Networks Group as a consultant.
Speaking of his appointment, Colin McLeod said, “I am excited to have the opportunity to join Fox Networks Group and lead a portfolio of successful and distinct entertainment and documentary brands, which are well-positioned for the dynamic UK media market.”
McLeod has over 20 years experience in the industry, spending ten years at NBC Universal, where he was responsible for brands including Universal Channel, Syfy, E! and Movies24. He has also worked for Sparrowhawk International Channels, Travel Channel and BBC Worldwide.

Fox Networks Group UK operates four pay-TV channel brands across the country including FOX, National Geographic, Nat Geo Nat Geo Wild and BabyTV, along with digital products including NationalGeographic.co.uk.
