The advanced interactive TV platform provider Beenius has launched a new feature for personalised recommendations known as the Recommendation Dashboard.
Operators that opt for the Beenius Linux STB Application (BLSA) will be able to offer end-users content of any type, including live TV, catch-up TV programmes, series and VOD.
Recommended content will be based on end-users’ feedback on content, actual watched content, time of day, day of week and on content already watched by users with similar viewer behaviour.
The feature also gives the end-user the ability to search for desired content through a special search mechanism. This way the search is performed via a recommendation engine, over Title, Director, Actor and other content metadata.
Beenius is demonstrating its Interactive TV Platform and new Recommendation Dashboard at Stand 14.C30 at IBC 2017.
