New exec joins Anvato

Anvato has appointed Andreas Binderlehner its sales director for the EMEA region.

He will be based in Austria and charged with expanding the company’s presence with content and service providers across the region.

Binderlehner has held similar roles at well-known companies such as Elemental Technologies (recently acquired by Amazon Web Services), Conax (part of the Kudelski Group), Envivio and Verimatrix.

His career started as sales and marketing manager in the Tektronix video and networking division and at the Grass Valley Group where he gathered extensive knowledge about video production, content -protection and distribution and DVB / IP / OTT transmission technologies.
