SPI’s Filmbox boosts offer in Slovakia

November 10, 2015 23.00 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

filmboxThe Filmbox bouquet on Orange Slovakia has been renamed FilmBox Premium to better reflect the nature of the content it offers.

Following the addition of four channels, it now consists of six services – FilmBox Premium, FilmBox Extra HD, FilmBox Plus, FightBox HD, 360TuneBox HD and Eroxxx HD – and costs viewers €4.49 a month to receive.

Commenting on the development, Berk Uziyel, executive director of Filmbox International Ltd, said: “As Slovakia is one of the key markets for our FilmBox brand channels in CEE, we are excited to strengthen our premium offer on Orange Slovakia. We have not only added new channels to the existing pack but we are also boosting movie content on our channels with blockbuster hits which we recently acquired from major studios such as Disney and NBCUniversal”.

Michaela Palicova, responsible for Home Line of Business at Orange Slovakia, added: “We are pleased to bring our customers the Filmbox package as we always aim to offer them the TV content they are interested in”.
