Metrological demos its Application Platform

May 25, 2015 20.25 Europe/London By Broadband TV News Correspondent

Metrological is bringing apps to TV, enabling TV operators to launch, manage and monetize their own branded TV app store and UX across devices.

At this year’s ANGA COM will be showcasing benefits of the Metrological Application Platform:

App Store. Launch your own branded software and device agnostic TV App Store that runs on all screens, even on legacy browser-less Set Top Boxes.

App Manager. Easily manages the content in your Metrological TV App Store in real time.

Dashboard. Provides real time analytics that enable you to optimize your app offering and monetize your TV App Store.

RDK App Emulator. Gives app developers of any size, the ability to remotely develop and test apps on top of the RDK.

Metrological can help you launch your own device independent and software agnostic app store to generate new revenue streams. Additionally, you can ‘hit the ground running’ since we offer over 250+ apps ready for publication in your app store today as well as an open SDK.

Metrological is a member of the RDK community and powers the integrated app and widget experiences in 20 million homes, including Liberty Global’s Horizon.
