The 30th anniversary of EastEnders has helped the BBC iPlayer to its biggest ever week.
Audiences wanting to catch up on the long-running soap helped the iPlayer reach 75 million requests. February might have been a contender for the most successful month ever, but with fewer days, total requests were capped at 299 million.

The live episodes of EastEnders proved popular, and The Comic Relief Bake Off and Top Gear also featured in the top programmes this month. Dramas such as Waterloo Road, Silent Witness, The Casual Vacancy and Wolf Hall also performed strongly.
