German pay-TV operator Sky Deutschland has won 214,000 new subscribers in the last three months of 2014 – the strongest customer growth in the company’s history.
The broadcaster dropped, however, back into the red.
In total, Sky Deutschland now has 4.12 million subscribers, thereby exceeding the 4 million mark for the first time.
Turnover rose in Q2 2014/15 (December 31, 2014) by 9% to €451 million. The EBITDA amounted to €3.5 million following a negative EBITDA of €37 million in the same quarter last year.
The net loss decreased from €80.4 million to €37.1 million. In the preceding quarter, Sky recorded a net profit of €12 million.
