RCS&RDS is continuing to reinforce its position as the leading cable operator in Romania.
Quoting documents published in the Official Gazette, ZF reports that the company has already completed four acquisitions, for a combined total of several million euros, this year.
This has allowed it to increase its cable subscriber base by over 50,000.
The largest of the acquisitions was of Electrosim, which with associated networks had around 30,000 subscribers.
The others were KATV Star (over 13,000 subscribers), Canal 7 (8,500) and Vesatel (approximately 7,000).
