Sony Pictures Television (SPT) has appointed Vadim Sokolovsky as MD for SPT Productions Russia and Lean-M Productions.
In his role, he will manage all aspects of Sony’s television production business in Russia, including development, sales and production of programming, as well as the financial performance, strategic vision, operation and growth of those companies.
Sokolovsky will report to Jeff Lerner, senior VP, scripted programming, international production for SPT. He takes up his position at the beginning of this month and will be based at SPT’s Moscow office.

Sokolovsky is an award-winning producer, director and writer with over 20 years’ experience in the Russian and international film and TV industry.
SPT Productions Russia and Lean-M Productions produce original television series and adaptations of international TV formats for the Russian speaking market across multiple genres.
