TiVo now has more than 4.5 million subs, including those for its retail-owned and pay-TV subscriptions.
This, says the company, surpasses the previous number of 4.45 million hit over eight years ago in December 2006.
TiVo adds that it had launched its solution with three operators in 2012 and today that figure stands at 12.
Furthermore, it will rise to 15 in the near future.
TiVo recently acquired the cloud-based content discovery and recommendation service Digitalsmiths. As a result, it is now doing business with 18 of the top 25 pay-TV operators in the US.
Outside the US, it has deals with Virgin Media in the UK, Ono is Spain and Com Hem in Sweden.
