Eurosport will remain available on Sky Italia beyond the New Year, Broadband TV News has confirmed.
Sources familiar with the situation said Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 would continue to be available as part of the Sky Sport package past January 1, 2014. Negotiations, said the source, would continue.
It is understood the international sports channel is one of a number of content providers currently in negotiation with the satcaster.
Eurosport, owned by TF1 and Discovery Channel, will next year celebrate its 25th anniversary on the air.
