Magyar Telekom has separated the positions of chairman and CEO, electing Kerstin Günter to the former while retaining Christopher Mattheisen as the latter.
According to the company, this is line with other companies across the Deutsche Telekom group.
Günter joined the Deutsche Telekom group in 1991 and has since held various management positions within it.
She has been Deutsche Telekom’s senior VP of technology for Europe since March 2012 and is responsible for the functional management of technology across 13 European countries with the Deutsche Telekom group.
