The BBC channel portfolio BBC Entertainment, BBC Lifestyle, BBC Knowledge and CBeebies has secured carriage on Cyfrowy Polsat, Poland’s leading DTH platform, from later this month.
As a result, it will now be available on all the major DTH platforms, cable and IPTV providers in the country.
The channels will join BBC HD, which has been available in Cyfrowy Polsat’s Extra HD package since the beginning of February this year.
Alongside the agreement, responsibility for ad sales for the portfolio will also move to Polsat Media from January 1, 2013.
