The Russian cable operator ER Telecom has significantly upgraded its Dom.ru broadband offer, increasing access speeds by an average of 2.5 times.
The offer applies to around 400,000 subscribers connected to one of four tariffs launched in April and will see the maximum access speed rise to 100 Mbps.
ER Telecom is the fourth largest ISP in Russia, its Dom.ru service claiming more than 2.2 million customers.
The average internet access speed in Russia is around 15 Mbps, while that for Dom.ru will now rise from around 27 Mbps to 50 Mbps.
